What is SSWCS all about?

 

 

SSWCS social workers provide quality social work and counselling services through person centred and trauma aware ways.

 

Providing services and supports that are meaningful to an individual in utilising their strengths to gain confidence in knowledge of themselves, their life and systems - bringing a truly holistic perspective is what SSWCS is all about.
 

Providing strong advocacy and high level of communication, so that an individual feels they have someone who can communicate with and/or for them, if they need, using their own words is really important to us as practitioners.

 

We can come to you! As mobile social workers and counsellors we can come to your house to work with you, we can meet elsewhere to engage in the services, or at the office at 14/230 Main South Road, Morphett Vale and also offer telehealth options nationally across Australia (phone or video) if needed.

Please note: SSWCS is not a crisis service. We cannot be crisis services as this is not how NDIS social worker services are. If you need support on where to contact due to a crisis please make contact and we can speak to you about how we can support/what we can do to support, refer you on and also offer other resources that may be needed during that time.
